Bazaruto Archipelago Gasification Project |
Mainland gas was required to supply generators on the islands off the east coast of Mozambique. As the conventional diesel generators were creating an environmental problem due to the method of delivery of diesel to the small islands of this archipelago. A65Km undersea pipeline was installed interconnecting all the islands from the mainland.

Project Details
Gas lines supplied had to be interconnected using electro fusion fittings every 500m, the line then required to be buried over 1m below the sea bed in order to protect the pipe from seacurrents. On each island a complete reticulation system and metering points were installed. |

Luderitz Harbour – Namibia |
This harbor’s pipeline was commissioned by the Namibian Ports Authority in order to bunker and debunker the this Southern Namibian Ports Fishing Fleet, Diamond recovery vessels, aswell as refuel Coastal Patrol ships of the Namibian Governmental Departments. |
Project Details :
The Project entailed the design, specification and supply of the fuelling system, to the newquay which had just been built. The pipe needed to be both buried and installed in a service tunnel under the quay. Various bunkering points needed to be installed on the pipeline, withprovision for multiple fuelling points happening simultaneously at a minimum fuelling rate of 30 tons/hour per point.
Petroplas pipe was chosen in order to ensure the required lifespan of the installed system, especially in the inhospitable environment of the service tunnel. |
